Locally Sourced Suppliers

We believe in supporting the culinary magic that's happening in Edinburgh - which is why our ingredients always come from the finest local suppliers. That makes our Magical Afternoon Tea a great option if you're looking for a tasty activity that's authentically Edinburgh. Especially if you've already had your fill of haggis and cullen skink!

Interactive and Immersive

Our menu is overflowing with mystical delights, but the fun doesn't stop there. Your afternoon tea will take place in our Magic Potions Tavern, a welcoming themed bar that will transport you into another world. We'll even provide you with a robe so you can fully immerse yourself in the experience.

Centrally Located

The Department of Magic is a short walk from Waverley Station in the city's historical Old Town. If you're looking for a memorable, wizarding experience, it's hard to think of a better setting than our cobbled streets, just a stone's throw from Edinburgh Castle.
